Pretty Cool!
I enjoyed playing this, although sometimes it can be pretty frustrating. While I think the game mechanic of gambling on which presents to open is pretty cool, it can also lead to your demise. It's all based on luck, instead of skill. Wave mode also seems way too long, almost twice as long as it should be (thank god for the save feature). Despite all of this, I found all of the weapons and enemies pretty creative ( I like how you get to see most of the enemies up close when you lose, I really like how you drew them). The background music is spectacular, and it definitely sets the mood for the game. I just wish that there were a few more songs similar to it, just to change things a bit when the player hits the 2:00 and 4:00 count.

Awesome Job
I thought it was really fun. The concept is really simple but I still found it addictive and enjoyable. The background music wasn't spectacular, but it was kind of catchy, and didn't get annoying, which is good for a game like this. The gameplay was basic but addictive, though it can be pretty frustrating at some points, the character moves so quickly that it's hard to time jumps onto the moving platforms (the rooms leading up to the Wall Jump upgrade were just cruel). However, my favorite aspect of this game is the graphics. It's an absolutely beutiful game. The sprites seem simple enough but when you make them transparent and place them over that blocky texture for the background, the effect is simply amazing.

I'm hungry for more
I really enjoyed playing this. I always love a game with retro styled graphics. The gameplay is solid, albeit challenging. The composed music was spectacular, and I don't think the game would have the same impact if you used 8 Bit chiptunes to match the graphics.
I'd also really loved the open exploration style of the game, since I'm a big fan of Metroid and Castlevania. I noticed the that the game was designed this way within the first 2 minutes, but didn't understand the title untl the very end. Seeing the secret message made me laugh though.
The story was pretty interesting although some of the text rolls by too quickly that it's easy to miss. I had to replay the ending, since i missed parts of the dialogue in the chaos of trying to escape the place. I'm sure you intend to keep it ambiguous (unless by some miracle you make a sequel to explain it) but I really do want to find out what happened prior to the game's events.

I lol'd
Not really a song, but it made me laugh. It was better than many other prank calls I've heard recorded.

Very cool
That would really fit in well in an RPG. I think it would be great as a miniboss theme. I really like the short, fast intro. No battle theme is complete without that sudden bit of intensity for the transition into the battle. Great job Kajet.

*Sigh*
I didn't like it. I'm sorry, but nothing in the writing, voice acting, or animation was even remotely funny to me. I mean that's not to say the animation was bad, it was actually animated quite fluidly (although I thought the drawlings were quite sketchy and haphazard). But the story and overall content just didn't entertain. Better luck next time.

Terrific!
I'm going to have to give this a 10, purely based on how entertaining it was. D-Mac's top notch voice acting is definitely what makes it so funny, but I thought some of the things you did with the typographic animation was really cool, and this has actually inspired me to do a similar kind of animation for one of my University Courses. I'd definitely like to see more stuff like this.

Not Bad
It's a little short, and it could have done with some voice acting instead of just text. And while some of the drawings were a little simple, the actual Animation is fluid and very well done. Nice job!
